Big Finish 8th Doctor New Adventure #4.05, October 2010
This story is obviously the start of a big multi-story arc and as such, it suffers for being so short. There are the beginnings of action and there’s an abbreviated adventure involved, people dying, Ice Warriors waking up, but without the rest of the story it feels out of place and lacking a point or purpose. I was not impressed. If the action wasn’t half-way interesting I’d give this audio 2 jelloids. Even the ending “surprise” made me roll my eyes, it didn’t intrigue me at all after The Book of Kells. This is by far the most disappointing audio story this season.
