Big Finish Companion Chronicle #5.01, July 2010
No hesitation – this story is magnificent! I think I need to revise some of my other 5 jelloid ratings due to this one. Wow. This is a riveting story, going along with the story Sara tells Robert. There is a twist to Robert’s fate that I won’t ruin which makes sense but it still surprised me. But as Sara’s story continues, you can see her fate unraveling (or perhaps tightening!) around her and it’s haunting. I couldn’t stop listening – riveted is an excellent description. And the ending, it’s about as perfect as a Doctor Who ending could get for me! A character left with a choice that we can argue about for days, much like Turlough in the other Companion Chronicle, Ringpullworld. An excellent conclusion to an excellent trilogy!
