Big Finish audio drama, February 2008

Lucy has a new one for us!  Time And Relative Dimensions In Shed.  Hehehehe.  I, for one, think that’s amusing.  I really enjoyed this audio adventure.  There was a mystery, a bunch of kooky characters who were well developed, deaths, space ships, computers, leaders of two worlds coming together in the end, all of the classic Dr. Who fun that I love to hear!  And Kith who are tree dudes.  Cool!

These audios almost seem too short to me, to be honest.  Sometimes the audios seem the wrong length, like they’ve cut out a big chunk of them to make them fit.  These seem just right so far.  I like that the Doctor and Lucy get to go sleuthing and Lucy doesn’t really have to know anything about space ships or local politics to really get into it.  She can be pretty snarky in attitude but it really fits!  Though I hope she stays confrontational with the Doctor, ultimately, because the last thing he really needs is another buddy/falls in love with him companion.  Ugh.  Poor 10th Doctor.  Rose.  Martha.  They all fall for him.  I’m glad Donna came along to be more of a Lucie type who doesn’t just accept what the Doctor says and has a mind of her own.  Hurray Lucy!
