No Place Like Home

2003

How could you ask for a better audio?  This is a simple audio in that it all takes place within the TARDIS and there are only four speaking parts involved.  The jokes are nutty good and if you can lay your hands on this short audio adventure, it’s a MUST for any Doctor Who fan!  It comes with Doctor Who Magazine, issue 326.  I’ve gotten a few audio adventures with the magazine and this is by far the best of the bunch.  I don’t subscribe because it’s seriously expensive here in the US and I just can’t justify over $100 a year for a magazine.  But this audio adventure would be a hard one to miss!

The Doctor is giving Erimem a tour of the TARDIS while Peri is busy in her room.  They keep wandering back to the wardrobe room and things start to happen in quick progression.  A rovie (sp?) has taken over and since it’s just a large mouse, the Doctor and Erimem can’t help but make a bunch of mutant mouse jokes and it’s a laugh a minute!  This is classic, fun, good Doctor Who with humor, danger, AND some Time Lord manipulation tricks thrown in for good measure.  It all makes a lot of sense in the time honored, Time Lord tradition of using the Doctor for their own purposes.  Great stuff!  Get this audio now if you can!
