Hmmm. Well, the ending to this one sure was a whimper instead of a bang. SJ gets her man, her CIA. And everything’s wrapped up nicely but it just doesn’t have the bite of the other audios. Still very good but the ending, though it follows to a natural conclusion, doesn’t make the story. The last audio, Test of Nerve, had a confused beginning, this one has just an ‘eh’ ending. Good but not great.
I was thinking this audio would conclude the last audio’s promise of the story arc. Interesting premise but everything winds up just pretty blah. And it really wasn’t as scary as it should be, I think. Mildly scary and definitely promising at first but slides off at the end.
I do have to mention that I really love, love, love the theme music for these audios! It’s very good and fun to listen to. Very cool stuff.
