Wowee wow! This audio was the female version of James Bond, I swear! Except a more gullible Bond, our SJ. She does get caught up by the bad guys and she has totally fallen into their psychological trap. She does help herself out of her predicament in the end but she also absolutely needs her friends. The paranoia of Test of Nerve is proven to be tenable but also ridiculous. Why wasn’t she trusting the people who have saved her hide over and over again? At least she now knows who her enemy is and what their goals are.
Though I must admit that throughout the audio, I wanted to scream at her Wendi’s a ringer!!! That much was obvious but how or why we just didn’t know until the big reveal at the end. Definitely a very nice ending piece for season 1. Now I’ll have to check out season 2, though I already know how it ends…
