Old Soldiers (#2.3)

  Big Finish, Companion Chronicles

This is a rather amazing story with an amazing reading by Nicholas Courtney.  The story lives up to the title in an amazing way.  This story actually brought a tear to my eye!  There is a moral to the story and things are both found and lost in the telling.  “Absent friends, comrads in arms, old soldiers.”  Nicholas Courtney plays the Brigadier in a compelling and thoughtful story from the perspective of the soldier.  Well worth the price of admission this one!  I don’t even want to reveal any plot points (you could look that up elsewhere if you want to) as it’s just amazing to hear Nicholas Courtney’s reading from beginning to end.  He will be missed!  One of my favorite companions in the Big Finish era.  Liked him on TV and LOVED him in the BF stories.
