The Labyrinth of Buda Castle (5.2)

  Big Finish, Fourth Doctor Series

This story is a fun romp but that’s about all for me. I love the atmosphere created and I think that the actors in the interviews sound the least like their characters of any Dr Who audio Big Finish has ever recorded. It was amazing the voices the actors used compared to their own. Outstanding that! But otherwise it was a typical romp. With the military involved, who seemed completely clueless. And the Doctor doesn’t seem very concerned with the “vampire,” whether he is one or not. And they are an ancient enemy, as we know from the adventures with the 6th Doctor and the Forge. I enjoyed this story but I won’t re-listen to it eagerly.
