Military Intelligence (6.3)

Big Finish Jago and Litefoot Series

For once Professor Litefoot is the suspicious one in this story and Henry Gordon Jago is all for trusting people. A reversal of fortune indeed. This story does redeem the series in my eyes. The Colonel is manufacturing creatures much like Dr. Taup did and wants to find out as many details as possible from Jago and Litefoot about their adventures that dealt with him. So the Colonel turns tail and heads into the land of the villainous! Though without the alien inside of him that Dr. Taup had going… I can totally see the dastardly Colonel twirling his mustache!

Things are definitely more normal with this story, though the memory issue is still on the back burner. I’m not sure how real this “reality” is that J&L have been working in. But things are progressing! For once Jago’s prodigious vocabulary has a very specific use for defeating the bad guy and we are led to believe that things ultimately don’t go well. However, I’m not convinced. Hmmm. An excellent story back up to par with the previous seasons. There’s adventure to be had everywhere for this pair! Though how the police have failed to notice things going on is quite a mystery as well. And how The Colonel has gotten away with his machinations so long makes it definitely seem like there’s a gaping hole in her Majesty’s secret service. Where was James Bond when you needed him?
